Age Groups/Gameplay Rules – US Box Lacrosse Events

Age Grouping

To ensure high quality, safe and fair gameplay all players on the floor must adhere to standardized age grouping. There are no overage players allowed in any age division. Any teams found in violation will be automatically disqualified from the event.

Age Requirements starting october 1, 2026

All players must meet the birthdate requirements. Any player may play up a division but they can never play down a division.

2027/2028

Players cannot turn 19 prior to June 1, 2027

2029/2030

Players cannot turn 17 prior to June 1, 2027

2031/2032

Players cannot turn 15 prior to June 1, 2027

2033/2034

Players cannot turn 13 prior to June 1, 2027

2035/2036

Players cannot turn 11 prior to June 1, 2027
